On 4th August 2016, Inter House Debate competition was organised by the English department. The topic for the Junior debate was “India needs smart villages than smart cities”. All the contestants participated with full enthusiasm. Overall Panchachuli house stood first. Meenakshi Negi of Panchachuli House bagged the best speaker award.It was a successful venture as each student emerged a victor, adding debating knowledge to her store.
