HIM JYOTI VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE

Encouraged by the singular success of the School, the Society established Him Jyoti Vocational Institute, where girls from economically weaker sections of society are provided with an opportunity to learn vocational skills – training that will directly lead to employment, careers and thus, empowerment.

The foundation of HJVI was laid on March 04, 2014 with a bhumipoojan and a commitment of Rupees three crore by Shri Anil Chanana, and Rupees fifty lakh by Smt and Shri Sudarshan Agarwal.

The Him Jyoti Vocational Institute started functioning from July 27, 2015 with the objective of empowerment of girls by providing free vocationaleducation. HJVI also offer hostel facilities to the outstation students.

Presently, the institute offer one year certificate programmes in
1- Sewing and Fashion
2- Modern Office Management
3- Beauty and Wellness

All the courses are affiliated from NIESBUD (National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship).

To give our girls an extra edge in today’s competitive world, they are also taught English, soft skills and computer knowledge along with their chosen certificate programme.

Various competitions, workshops and educational visits are a regular feature to help the students develop well-rounded personalities.

The Him Jyoti Vocational Institute is headed by Ms. Amandeep Kaur and has a team of motivated, competent and dedicated faculty members who, apart from providing best education, always help students to overcome personal challenges.
